Waratah Super Battery Environmental Impact Statement open for consultation

EnergyCo has prepared a comprehensive Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) which assesses the impacts of the Waratah Super Battery on the environment and surrounding communities.

Consultation

As part of the preparation of the EIS for development of the Waratah Super Battery at Munmorah, EnergyCo has consulted with a range of stakeholders who may have an interest in the proposed development, including residents in the surrounding community.

The EIS was publicly exhibited between 11 November and 8 December 2022 on the Department of Planning and Environment’s major projects website.
